Director

Sandy is the Director of Distinct Business Solutions. She is a Registered Tax Agent and CPA qualified accounting and finance professional with 13 years’ experience in business.

Whether you are a business owner or an individual, understanding your finances and obligations is difficult.

We speak to you in plain English to help you feel confident in your decision making.

Sandy is highly skilled in effectively communicating financial information to non-finance colleagues. Possessing excellent communication skills, she is able to build strong relationships both within and outside of a finance department.

We give you the individualised attention of an experienced accountant whose techniques and strategies will drive your finances towards the best results.

Sandy is very passionate about business and helping people reach their business potential.

Education

Sandy is a proud graduate of the University of Wollongong, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce, Accountancy and Minor in Business Law in 2010.

Sandy has also completed her post graduate studies, earning her the status as a member of CPA Australia as well as a CPA Public Practice.

Interests

Sandy loves to spend time with her family and friends, particularly her husband Gavin and 2 and half year old daughter Leela. These family values are at the core of how she runs her business.

Sandy also enjoys reading Michael Connelly novels as well as cooking and eating amazing food.

Community Involvement 

Sandy is proud to serve as Secretary of the Dapto Chamber of Commerce and Development.

She is also member of the Zig Zag Hub in Wollongong which is a network of start-up companies working in the same space. She is passionate about business and coaching, the Zig Zag Hub being ideal environment to refine her understanding of the issues which confront small businesses as well as being a space to presenting her regular workshops.
